Artist Bio

Justin Hoch is a freelance documentary and portrait photojournalist based in New York City. His long history in the world of collegiate and Olympic wrestling has led to an award-winning career photographing the world’s oldest sport, from Nebraska to Nur-sultan, his work taking him to Iran, Senegal, Russia, and many other countries. In addition to serving a number of corporate and editorial clients, collections of his images have been exhibited around the world, including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and Waterloo, Iowa – home to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum. His work has been rewarded with wrestling industry photographer and journalist of the year awards. He also frequently works with non-profit institutions in a variety of fields.
