My love of science fiction is the driving force behind this photographic project. I identified and captured coordinates of light, color and geometry to unlock cosmic portals. I observed doorways and windows intersecting with shafts of light. I think about spaceships when encountering blaring lights. I feel an otherworldly presence hovering alongside deep shadows. I notice how vibrant colors transform remote locations into landing sites. Vintage cars, arcade games, neon signs, pay phones and ATM machines morph into time travel mechanisms. I see open roads as gateways of optimistic horizons.
