This project began with my desire to use photography and traveling as therapeutic tools for solace. Josef Sudek’s photographs of the Saint Vitus Cathedral in Prague inspired me to choose the Czech Republic as my starting point. I traveled through the Czech Republic to Hungary, Austria and Germany. I was drawn to the powerful energy patterns I experienced throughout the region. I photographed light and color vibrating in marketplaces, train stations, baths, cultural sites and places of worship. My aim was to record these illuminated force fields.
